iMagine if your little brother went to the toilet on the train. . . and never came back

He needed a wee.
He was squashed up against the window of the train next to his big brother Nate. The man in a suit opposite him had his case on the floor under a shared table, and he’d have to somehow climb over it, squeeze past Nate and the knees of the two fat ladies across the aisle.

‘I need a wee,’ he hissed to Nate.
‘Why didn’t you go before we got on?’ said Nate irritably.

‘I didn’t want to go then, did I?’ He crossed his legs. ‘And now I do, badly.
‘Well, get going ,’ said Nate without looking up from his music magazine.
‘By myself?’ said Mitch.
‘ I can’t go for you!’ said Nate, a bit too loudly for the boy’s liking. ‘Unless you want me to wipe your bum?’

‘I’ll go on my own then,’ he said, expecting Nate to say he’d come too, but he didn’t.

and so it begins

Mitch never gets back to his seat, the seat where he’s left his inhaler and his phone, to saying nothing of a sausage sandwich. He’s all alone with nothing but an expired railway ticket. Who can he trust?

Amazon review

‘I bought this for my nine year old and be loved it! He really enjoyed the story and wrote in his school reading diary how exciting it was! I read it after him and have to agree with him! The pace and storyline are brilliantly judged and I will be recommending this book to many people.’

A thrilling page turner for brave readers aged from 10- 100.

10 year old Mitch goes to the toilet on the train… but he doesn’t come back.

He meets goodies and baddies, but it’s hard to tell one from the other. Whom should he trust? And how does he find his missing mother?
